Supplies:
| Fabric for crazy quilt |
As needed (7 different types) |
| Quilt batting |
28.5 cm x 28.5 cm |
| Backing |
28.5 cm x 28.5 cm |
| Frame |
20 cm x 20 cm |
| Crazy pattern (tracing paper) |
| Tracing wheel |
| Dressmaker's carbon paper |
Instructions:
- Embroider center piece of fabric. Set wrong side of embroidery on the pattern in the space marked “1” on the pattern so that it is well balanced, hold in place with a straight pin, and trace the mark for space 1 with the carbon paper and wheel.

- Set the wrong side of the cut embroidered fabric marked with space 1 to the tracing paper. Set the wrong side of the fabric for space 2 to the wrong side of the space 1 fabric and stitch together along the line on the tracing paper side with your sewing machine. Piece together spaces 3 to 7 in the same manner.
Note: For spaces 2 and 3 only, layer lace
over fabric.
- Once all of the pieces have been connected, remove the tracing paper from the edges of the seams.
Note: Be sure to press down on the seams as you remove the tracing paper.
- Arrange the quilt batting with the iron-on adhesive side up, place backing on top and iron.

- Lay the top made in Step 3 on the quilt batting and hold in place with straight or safety pins.
