Introducing the CoverPro 1000CPX, the first household cover stitching machine to feature the Seam Tightening System.

Since the introduction of the JANOME CoverPro series of dedicated cover hem machines in 2005, sewists have raved about the ease and practicality of these unique, specialized machines.
The new CoverPro 1000CPX keeps all of the convenient features of the CoverPro 1000CP and expands its capabilities even further with the new Seam Tightening System.
A handy thread tension setting guide and improved foot pressure adjustment features have also been added.

Seam Tightening System

Another example of JANOME innovation, the Seam Tightening System allows the looper thread to be pulled tight and flat for use on outer garments. On the 1000CPX this industrial feature is simple to activate and requires no complicated rethreading of the machine.

Janome has released a new kit for the Memory Craft 11000 Special Edition and Memory Craft 11000 Version 2.01.
In addition to a new AcuFil hoop, this kit is full of handy tools to help give your quilting professional results.

1. Improvements and changes to AcuFil Quilting System

  • New Square hoop! The new AcuFil Square Quilting Hoop (ASQ hoop) is 180 x 180 mm—large enough to quilt a six-inch quilt block with room to spare.
  • More AcuFil Calculator features for easier layouts and design combinations: The new improvements take quilting beyond adding stippling to an entire quilt with features such as single pattern insertion and direct same size pattern creation to make combining quilting patterns across and within your layout easier than ever. Improved AcuFil Calculator interface and new margin options give more control and flexibility for design sizes but leaves the work to the Calculator.

2. Professional-level support tools

  • Added full speed sewing capability to the stop/start button for same maximum speed as with the foot controller.
  • Added new, faster, adjustable start-up speed options to ordinary sewing set menu.

New One Stitch Stop option

Stops the machine after one stitch to allow bobbin thread to be drawn up when stipple/free-motion quilting, heirloom sewing or anytime the same perfect finish is wanted on the back as the front.
Available for both embroidery and regular sewing.

Introducing the 1600P Quilter’s Companion, the newest member of the Janome Professional Series

Janome’s 1600P Professional Series machines are famous for their precision, their consistency, their sturdiness, their expansive bed space but most of all they are know for their speed! The latest addition to the 1600P series, the 1600P QC keeps all of this and adds features designed with the quilter and quilt frame mounting in mind.

New features of 1600P QC

  • Socket for remote thread cutter operation: Lets you cut your threads right from the handles of your frame. (*requires compatible frame handles not included with machine)
  • Improved operating sound: Quieter operating and sound dampening features so you can quilt well into the night without waking the rest of the house.
  • Additional safety feature: Experienced quilters have told us that, besides using wrong needles or wrong thread, the number one cause of stitch problems especially when free quilting on a frame is forgetting to lower the presser foot. The 1600P QC has a unique sensor that will let you know the presser foot needs to be lowered and keep it from starting with the presser foot up to prevent injuries and thread nests.
  • Ergonomic knee lifter: The new adjustable knee lifter lets you quilt for hours in comfort. With a full range of adjustment from left to right, you can find the position that fits you best – whatever your size or height. You can now sit directly in front of the needle with the knee lift perfectly positioned for free-motion quilting or general sewing.
