The JP Series 4 has an extensive lineup
comprised of three types of models (stand-alone, head, and unit

Features
A Variety of Models to Satisfy All Needs
Stand-alone, head, and unit types with
a pressing capacity from 0.5kN to 120kN are available for
diverse needs in a variety of fields. In addition to the standard
stroke, short and long strokes are also available.
Safe, Energy-Saving, and Clean
Driven by the AC servo motor, the JP
Series 4 provides a quiet and clean work environment. Consuming
only 10% to 20 % of energy against pneumatic and
hydraulic presses, the JP Series 4 can contribute to a total cost
reduction as well as environmental conservation (ISO14000). To
ensure safety, all the JP Series 4 models come equipped with an
area sensor (light curtain) terminal as well as a fail-safe
circuit.
Clean Room Specifications
The clean room type models equipped with a
special airtight mechanism and special external conductive metal
coating are available. All the external plates and screws are made
of stainless steel. A special antistatic bellows is used for the
sliding parts, and special dust-proof grease is used for the inside
of the bellows to minimize dust. These special specifications
conform to clean room class 10 (0.3µm.) requirements. The clean
room type models can also be used in a non-clean-room work
environment.
High Accuracy and High Performance
High accuracy (repeatability: plus or minus
0.005mm) and high performance are ensured with the AC
servomotor, high precision ball screw, and high accuracy load cell.
With this precise positioning and adjustment capabilities, there is
no need for making or adjusting height precision dies and jigs when
changing set-ups or starting up new production lines. Also, the
very low impact on the die and jig can maximize their service
life.
A Wide Variety of Pressing Modes
Special processes can easily be
handled with the two- or multiple-section
pressing function(programmable by users via a teaching
pendant) and a variety of operation modes including "Constant
Speed-Set Stop Position," "Constant Speed-Set Stop
Load," "Constant Speed-Set Dist. Mode," and
more.
Enhanced Quality Control and Ensured
Traceability
Enhanced quality control is assured
by a variety of sensor functions (e.g. monitoring
load, position, distance, peak, bottom, differential, etc.).
Also, the optional Ethernet
communication allows you to save data (e.g. pressure
curves, results) onto a PC, which ensures
traceability.
Large, Easy-to-Read Operation Screen
The large, easy-to-read LCD screen
and switch panel enable hassle-free interactive
operation. The display language can easily be switched between
Japanese, English, German, Italian, Spanish, French, Korean,
and Chinese. The coordinate value can also be displayed in
millimeters or inches.
Pressure Curve Display
The pressure curves, which previously could
only be checked on a PC screen, now can be seen on the LCD screen on
the Electro Press. You can check pressure curves on the
LCD screen during operation, so it is easier to monitor product
quality.
